Training in Livestock, Agriculture (Pasture) and Business
Training in Agriculture (pasture), Livestock and Business is a new long-term inter-learning project that seeks to enhance the knowledge of men and women who are dedicated to these purposes, this will be carried out in the Pamuri annex in the province of Tayacaja , belonging to the Huancavelica region in Peru. The project will allow ranchers to understand the opportunities available to grow and improve in the field to which they are dedicated, always in harmony with the surroundings and the environment. Agriculture and livestock represent 71% of the economic activities of the population of Tayacaja, which is why this project has the potential to create a truly positive economic and social change for farmers and milk producers in the area.
This project is designed to help farmers share knowledge and gain access to specialist advice. The project was presented to the Ministry of Agriculture and then adapted to the context of our country. He is currently helping farmers in Northland (New Zealand), Puno and Cusco (Peru) better understand their farming business and the opportunities available to grow and improve.
Those who participate?
We will carry out this project in the Pamuri annex together with a group of fourteen families who are dedicated to livestock in the area. The leader of the workshop will be Mr. Jorge Luis Bernal Madrid, a zootechnical engineer from UNALM with a specialty in Agricultural Business Management, who has 20 years of experience in grazing dairy farming. He will have the support of the Mukmu team.
Main goal
We seek to enhance the practical knowledge of our neighboring farmers and milk producers to improve work processes in agriculture and livestock, in addition to sharing new strategies for better management of their economy.
Why do we support the community?
We want to increase the general well-being of those involved and those around them. This approach will allow us to recognize that a successful farmer is not just about economics and profitability, but that achieving agricultural success also requires a focus on creating a sustainable environment and a healthier farming community in general.
